in the heart of Rechavia an exclusive neighborhood a nicely decorated apartment that just says "relax" when you walk in. Gorgeous jerusalem apartment

What's in it?

The open floor plan of this holiday apartment in jerusalem looks great because when you walk in there are three very large windows that cast cascading sun across the whole apartment. A very nice salon, dining and kitchen floor plan allows you to entertain guests or just keep up with the family at all times. There is a full kitchen to start your day off right with full breakfast or a quick cup of coffee. Nobody wants to cook on their vacation but no one wants to eat three meals a day out at restaurants either. The choice is yours. There is an office in the guest bedroom so you can catch up on yur emails or close that important deal back home. The owner has left a computer with free wireless connection so you can even check out local tours in Jerusalem and Israel. the master bedroom has  a full bathroom with a tub. And the kid's room has use of the hall bathroom with a washer and dryer to keep your vacation clothes clean and fresh. So pack light! You will have more room to bring back gifts for the family and friends. Ask about in-house cleaners to make the most of your vacation rental in jerusalem! Ideal for short term rental in jerusalem.

What is the area like?

All of Jerusalem is easily walked. You are about 20 minutes to the old city, 15 minutes to the city center and Ben Yehuda Street. in this area you can get on and off the highway easily to all parts of Israel. Tel Aviv is only 45 minutes by car. These old city streets are lined with beautiful Jerusalem stone houses and trees. You can walk very safely through this neighborhood and find all that it has to offer, from cafes, restaurants and museums all tucked away in this peaceful and blissful neighborhood.

What shall I have for lunch?

You pick! As you walk through this area or drive out to sites yet unkown you can select a different place for each meal each day. A lost tourist will find more options than someone who lays out their plans for each day. Just head in the direction of the German Colony to Emek Refaim. Here you wil lfind middle eastern cuisine, bagel shops and local pizza such as Pizza Sababa, an Israeli favorite that put an international chain out of business for its great pizza and pasta selections.

Where can I empty my wallet?

The Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall has local shop owners and artisans offering their wares at great prices. Walk to the end of the street all along Jaffa Street to the Jaffa Gate and you will find the daily Arab Shuk and bazaar. Here you can haggle and get the best deals on everything from magic carpets to judaica. Get lost in the alleyways and you will see some great local food stands frequented by the local sellers. You will feel like you have walked into someone's home and you are their honoured guest.

Arts and Entertainment?

The Wall Tunnel  tour is amazing. What is now far underground was once open to the sky. You will see "Wilson's Arch" - part of the support for a bridge connecting the Temple Mount to the Upper City, along with large halls from different periods, including one that was perhaps the Jerusalem council meeting room or city archive from the Hasmonean period. Water channels, and the largest block of stone used in constructing the wall are also visible. Models and an audio-visual display enable visitors to understand the various sites.

Let's Get Practical

You are near everything but far enough away this is a haven in the city. On one side you have tree lined side streets. You can walk to the street and find buses to the city center or to the central bus station to get you to all parts of Israel or to the train station to go north to Rosh Hanikrya or south to Ashkelon. Cabs are cheap and easy to find on all streets at all hours. The city closes on Friday afternoons until Saturday nights when you can find everyone hanging out on the pedestrian malls people watching and catching up and making plans for the next week.
