Apartment Overview
Guests Reviews

quiet location in the heart of the old city streets of Nachlaot a nice place to relax and near everything the city has to offer

What's in it?

This holiday apartment in jerusalem has a kosher kitchen for snacks and light breakfasts or lunches. The clean and comforting decor of this vacation rential in jerusalem gives you a better choice than most hotels. A sofa bed means you can have a couple with two kids or with a baby. Ideal for short term rental in jerusalem

What is the area like?

This is Nachlaot. A great old neighborhood with the shuk or farmer's market very near so you can stock up for the stay in this quiet and cozy apartment. You can walk easily to the bus station, Jaffa Street or to the city center and on to most of Jerusalem's historical sites.

What shall I have for lunch?

Sima's located on Agrippas Street is a great middle eastern choice. Sima's is my favorite place on the street, and a local legend for its wonderfully seasoned Jerusalem Mixed Grill, which comes with chips (french fries), salad, bread, and condiments if you order it as a platter. I like the mixed grill better in its less-expensive pita sandwich form. Sima's is often mobbed, so a takeout mixed-grill pita sandwich could be a good bet.

Where can I empty my wallet?

The daily bazaar at the shuk, or market is now offering some great options for shoppers besides food. You can select some great judaica items or pick up some middle eatern items such as carpets or even shoes. The place for all tourists to visist is on Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall with more choices for judaica, jewelery and kitsch which can be easily packed for your friends and family at home.

Arts and Entertainment?

Jerusalem is the walker's paradise. You can make it to the old city and along the way step on any one spot that is full of history. on the way you can see the Tomb of David, the resting place of the great king of ancient Israel, the Tower of David which is the only remnant from king Herod's palace or the Kotel which is the center for the Jewish faith and a reminder of the things that have passed and what will come.

Let's Get Practical

A short walk will take you to Agrippas Street with buses to all parts of the city. If you want to get there quickly a cab can be found on most city streets at all hours of the day. The shuk will allow you to pick the freshest fruits, veggies and meats to keep your fridge stocked up for your stay in the holiest city in the world. ATMs are located at all main branches of banks and will get you shekels at the most current rate of exchange. You can also exchange your money at cash kiosks conveniently located on all streets.
