What's in it?

A newly decorated and remodeled holiday apartment in jerusalem with all the amenities to make this an easy point for all things Jerusalem has to offer. This vacation rental in jerusalem has a kosher dairy kitchen, a sofa bed for two more guest and a balcony to a quiet spot off the street.

The owner is on site in the shop below. You can ask him for anything you need or just ask how to get around the city. He feel you are his guests and he treats you that way while you are here. He will come in and freshen up your apartment during your stay. You can also order breakfast deliveered to the balcony which he will bring up to you. Excellent for short term rental in jerusalem

What is the area like?

You are two minutes to all central transportation. Directly across the street is the first in Israel Cafe Hillel coffee shop. You can arange to have breakfast here every day included in the apartment or just stop by for  a cafe hafouk. You can walk to the center for shopping, eating and many historical sites. You are above Roy's chocolate, Benny's Hair Salon and a tour office. All the things you need to enjoy your stay. Benny will come up if you prearrange a visit with him for spa and hair treatments in your apartment.

What shall I have for lunch?

Cafe Hillel offers great cafe choices such as sandwiches, coffee and salads. The street side seating ensures you a great view of the people walking by. Further along the way near the square and the Italian Synagogue there are four or five different restaurants that are open on Saturday as well as the rest of the week.

Foccacia Bar This long established and popular restaurant is favoured by Israelis and tourists alike for its consistent high standards, cheerful ambience and most of all, for the giant Focaccias. Baked in the outdoor, stone oven, the piping hot half-metre Focaccias arrive at your table with a choice of Goats Cheese, Labane, Pesto Sauce, Olive Paste and more. Where can I empty my wallet?

All along Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall are local Israeli shops with artisans from Jerusalem and all of Israel. You can choose from pottery and roman glass and ancient artifacts, or judaica items. You can pick hats, t shirts and postcards to send back home.

As you come to the end of the walk you can continue along Jaffa Street to the newly refurbished area of Mamilla. This new outside mall has many upscale and trendy shops that have kept some of the original old architecture from the turn of the century buildings. From here you can make your way to the Arab Quarter with its many stalls in the daily bazaar or continue on to the Christain Quarter with more selections from the history of the Christians in Jerusalem.

Arts and Entertainment?

Yad Vashem was established by the Israeli Parliament in 1953 as a memorial for almost six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust. Among several divisions of Yad Vashem are the historical museum presenting an overview of the period, and the art museum, which displays works depicting life in the Jewish ghettos and concentration camps. The Avenue of the Righteous commemorates those who helped to rescue Jews. Visitors whose relatives perished are encouraged to add information to the computerized database. There is also an academic research institute, and speakers, conferences and seminars about the Holocaust and related issues.

Let's Get Practical

You can walk 2 minutes to the buses that will take you to all of Israel and into the city streets of Jerusalem. Cabs are on every corner and are another cheap way to get around the city. ATMs are at every bank and offer you direct access to your bank to receive the most current rates of exchange for shekels. All stores will take your local currency and exchange that for youas well toward your purchase.
