Yehuda Ha-Levy Makes your vocation perfect

What's in it?

The judges may not occupy their chambers any longer at this address, but as a guest here you have the priviledge of staying in one of Tel Aviv's preserved , historic buildings. This is the original, 100 year old courthouse, built in the typical Bauhaus and international style, and now recently restored to its former glory, with details like the wooden shutters being preserved to reflect the style of the last century. The building interior is modern, completely new, and renovation was completed in May 2009.The apartment has a living and kitchen area, a master bedroom and bathroom.

What is the area like?

The area around Yehuda Halevi Street is a 10 minutes walk to the beachfront and well located near to the Suzanne Dallal Gardens and local children's playpark. Neve Tzedek has pleasant and charming buildings, quiet streets, galleries and cafes, and is a very sought -after residential area in Tel Aviv. A short walk will bring you to the Jaffa Old Port and fleamarket.

What shall I have for lunch?

There is no shortage of places to eat in this area- on Lilenblum Street you will find a kosher restaurant, the Buddha Burger offers organic and vegetarian food,Anina Cafe has great breakfasts, and in Neve Tzedek ,Suzanna offers an outdoor terrace under an old fig tree, or a summer roof garden with views of old and new Tel Aviv. Zazo Vino restaurant is highly recommended and for evening drinks, visit "Pri Geffen", a local wine bar which promotes only Israeli vineyards.

Where can I empty my wallet?

On nearby Shabazi Street in Neve Tsedek you will find unique home stores, jewellery shops, clothing boutiques and some local antiques on sale. There are also some local artists who sell pottery and their crafts. The Carmel market is in walking distance for clothing bargains, and fresh fruit and vegetables

Arts and Entertainment?

Visit the Nachum Gutman Museum, he is famous for having lived and worked all around the Neve Tsedek and Jaffa neighbourhoods, and on Shlus Street there are ceramics and art galleries. The Suzanne Dallal Centre is home to a historic school, and is famous for its dance and theatre shows and cultural activities.Beit Rokach, an art gallery, is open on Fridays and Saturdays and has local history displays on Neve Tsedek also.

Let's Get Practical

If you have a rental car , there is a parkade nearby the building which offers overnight parking for 12 shekels. There are also numerous bus lines available in this area, which will take you into central Tel Aviv.
