Ideal for short term rental in tel aviv

What is the area like?

You are on Dizengoff St between Basel and Nordau sts. You are only minutes to the new Tel Aviv port and bars and retsaurants are even closer. Try the Dizengoff Center for a great shopping experience or just to people watch.

What shall I have for lunch?

For a delicious and hearty Italian meal in a very cozy and charming setting, head to "Lasagna" on the south corner of Arlozorov and Dizengoff Street. Right next door is an ideal place to enjoy an authentic Israeli falafel, here you can mingle with locals and tourists as they enjoy this Israeli favorite. For a quick slice of pizza on the go, enjoy Pizza Hut on Arlozorov 30.

Where can I empty my wallet?

A day trek along Dizengoff St will give you enough choices to blow a week's salary. Keep going to the Dizengoff Center and you can spend the rest on local Isaeli fashions and designs. Find Sheinkin St for the best chic and trendy shops where you can spend next month's salary. Great places to shop, eat, party and hangout are all along this part of the city. the Tel Aviv port has many Israeli favorites without all the crowds.

Arts and Entertainment?

Entertain yourself! Beaches! Mike's Place! Great places on the beach for dinner, coffee or breakfast. That's my idea of entertainment.

Go south on the boardwalk to Old Jaffa for a daytrip to some ancient parts of the middle east. Jonah was swallowed by the whale here. There's an old port and new artisan shops with local Israeli art. Walk north to the new Tel Aviv port for an awesome view of the sea and the largest wooden pier in the middle east. A quick cab ride will bring you to the Eretz Israel Museum. There are many sites to see here and will give you enough of a tatse of the history of Israel for one trip.

Let's Get Practical

ATM's are at all major bank branches and you can use your credit card to get Israeli shekels. There are change places that will also give you shekels, euros or dollars on your card. (Ask about any fees before you exchange any money.)

Buses run up and down the streets to the central bus station for routes to all parts of Israel. They are the cheapest way to get around the city. Cabs can be hailed at all times of the day. But walking is the best way to see the city by the sea.

Most grocers will deliver to your place but you should be there when they arrive. Make a note of your address if you want delivery or just schleppe back what you need from any one of many 24 hour grocers.
