What shall I have for lunch?

Breakfast! Lunch! Dinner! Whatever you want will be on Emek Refaim St in the German Colony. Tal Bagels serves the best bagel with a full breakfast and good choices for lunch. A slice of pizza is found at a local place called Sababa. You can pick your own slice or take a whole pie home. All this before you even make it into the city center!

Where can I empty my wallet?

Take one of several buses from Emek Refaim to the city center and shop the famous Ben Yehuda pedestrian mall. It offers everything from Judaica to Jerusalem t-shirts. One-of-a-kind local shops can be found on Emek Refaim which offer jewlery, judaica and locally made crafts.

Arts and Entertainment?

The Jerusalem pool has a fully equipped gym and an olympic sized pool. The whole family can go here year round for a low entrance fee. All the sites are in the city center and the old city near the wailing wall. Take one bus to the city center and walk down Yaffo Street to the Jaffa Gate. Have fun in the daily Arab Bazaar or pick up some Armenian pottery in the Armenian Quarter. A walk by yourself will take you through thousands of years of Judeo-Christian history as well as the last 1000 years of Arab-Muslim history. A guide will get you to the most important sites quicker and you can hire one very easily through www.home4trip.com
